The Production Process of PA66 F01
Nylon 66 is made via the polycondensation of adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine (HMD). Adipic acid is synthesized in a two-step process that begins with cyclohexane. HMD is obtained by hydrogenating adiponitrile.
